The South Sydney Rabbitohs are proud to announce our participation in NAIDOC Week 2023, a celebration of the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a club with a deep connection to the local Indigenous community, we are committed to honouring and celebrating the contributions of our First Nations people. This year, we will be working closely with local Indigenous leaders and community members to develop a program of events and activities that reflect the themes of this year’ s NAIDOC Week. We will be hosting a range of events throughout the week, including a community festival, cultural workshops, and a special Indigenous round of the NRL. We will also be working with local schools and community groups to promote Indigenous education and cultural awareness. Our players will be proudly wearing a specially designed Indigenous jersey during the Indigenous round of the NRL, which will be auctioned off to raise funds for local Indigenous charities. We look forward to celebrating NAIDOC Week 2023 with our Indigenous community and supporters, and to continuing our ongoing commitment to reconciliation and cultural diversity..
