I met Biden once — ambushed him, really — when he was here on Nantucket for Thanksgiving (this is when he was VP). On our way to my grandparents house, we saw him and his family, along with a few SS agents, out for a walk on Madaket Road. We pulled over at Second Bridge and waited for him. When they arrived we approached them and said hello. He was very obliging and agreed to take a photo with us, taken by Beau. It’s a great memory. Biden is an excellent politician. He understands that “politics is local,” and when he used to come here, as he did again last year, he makes a point of being out in public on Main Street, etc. It’s like him riding the train from Delaware — good “man of the people” politics. That being said, I’ve never been a fan of Biden’s, going back to the 80s — he always seemed like he was GOP-lite, especially on cultural issues. Personal tragedies may have opened his heart and affected his outlook somewhat in later years, but he’s still too centrist for my taste, and yearns for a bipartisan form of governance that is no longer possible. We don’t need a “uniter” right now, we need a wartime consigliere. We need to finish Reconstruction. We need to excise this cancer once and for all. Only then can the body politic be restored. E. CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
G. PARCELS DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
