Tina Turner is widely regarded as the Queen of Rock, and for good reason. Her powerful voice, electrifying stage presence, and unwavering determination have made her an icon in the music industry. Born Anna Mae Bullock in 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee, Turner’s early life was marked by poverty and hardship. She began singing in a church choir and eventually formed a musical duo with her sister. In 1960, she met Ike Turner, and the pair began performing together as the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. The duo became known for their high-energy performances and soulful sound, and Turner quickly became a fan favorite. But behind the scenes, she was enduring physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Ike. Despite this, the Ike & Tina Turner Revue continued to churn out hits, including “River Deep, Mountain High” and “Proud Mary. ”
In the mid-1970s, Turner left Ike and embarked on a solo career, releasing hits like “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and “Private Dancer. ” She became the first black artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone, and her concerts were legendary for their energy and excitement. G. PARCELS DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.
