Wanted Dead And Alive Schrodingers Cat Shirt
In this article I want to talk about Schrodingers and shirt cats. There is a long and sad history between these two feline companions. The Schrodingers were imported from Germany by the Nazis in the 1930s as a method of sterilizing the stock of the conquered peoples. This includes the cat’s tuxedo which was supposedly worn by the SS leader and was supposedly covered in the dead ashes of the previous leader, so they would not suffer any guilt by wearing the tux.As with any event in history there are myths, legends and truths about anything that has a significant amount of historical precedent. The Germans brought the idea of a cute little toy cat for their pets. It was called Turgen, or “tea” in German, and according to one story, a St. Bernard named Muffy took to the water and would go out and find the feline. He would catch it, scoop it into his dish, and return it to the water to be served to him. Muffy would then take care of Turgen, and the legend says that he loved the cat so much that he named it after himself, and would go on to write many books about his pet.

Other stories talk about Turgen’s rather sad state when he took Muffy along to the camp where he was to be trained for war. According to this version of events, Turgen was supposed to be the leader of the Stasi, but the Red Sleeve took control of the government and made Turgen the puppet that was forced to do the speeches and the panning for the soldiers. As a result, Turgen was forced to give up control of his government and flee the country. The Stasi also abducted Muffy. Muffy was eventually returned to Turgen, who treated him as though he were his own cat, and used him for his own personal amusement.
